our Medical Director.

Dear colleague,

On behalf of my executive colleagues and myself, I’m delighted to welcome you to our team here at Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB).

We are an organisation who value innovation and change to ensure we provide the most effective clinical care for our patients and support for our colleagues.

Here at Swansea Bay UHB, we do our utmost to work to an open and honest culture, where you will be encouraged to provide your views and suggestions to improving the services we provide.

Our staff are central to all that we do, and we recognise the importance and value of supporting them on their journey to reach their full potential whilst also encouraging them to focus on their wellbeing.

We are very proud to be a University Health Board with strong links to Swansea University. We enjoy an excellent collaborative relationship with Swansea University with whom we have training programmes of teaching, training, research, and innovation.

Our values are: caring for each other; working together; always improving – applied equally to our staff as well as our patients.
