Swansea Bay’s coastal village has been named one of the best places to live in the country, offering the perfect balance of urban and seaside living. The city is also seeing a lot of major development, with a number of forthcoming housing projects and new modern apartments in the Maritime Quarter.

Upcoming public developments include a city park, cycle routes and the creation of new green areas with the planting of 200 trees.

Other more established communities include the suburb of Lower Sketty, and among the rural villages on the Gower Peninsular and in the Mumbles.

If you are looking to live in the Neath Port Talbot, the area prides itself on competitive property prices, being significantly cheaper than its surrounding cities such as Cardiff, with the average house costing £155,282.
